Privacy Policy

Updated August 4, 2026

1. Who We Are and How to Contact Us

This Privacy Policy applies to the landing page (the "Landing Page") operated by:

4GOO Holding GmbH Landauer Str. 56, 67346 Speyer, Germany ("Company", "we", "us", or "our")

For privacy-related enquiries, please contact us at: [email protected]

This Landing Page is a pre-launch subscription page. Its sole purpose is to allow interested users to submit their email address to receive early access invitations, beta updates, and launch announcements for the 4GOO social network application currently under development.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies only to personal data collected through this Landing Page. It does not govern data collected through the 4GOO social network application itself, which will be subject to a separate, comprehensive Privacy Policy published within the application upon its launch.

3. What Personal Data We Collect

A. Data you provide directly.

Depending on how you interact with the Landing Page, we may collect the following information through the subscription and contact forms:

  • Email address (required) — to respond to inquiries, send beta access invitations, and provide product updates or launch announcements.
  • First name (optional) — to personalise communications.
  • Last name (optional) — to personalise communications.
  • Subject of inquiry (optional) — to categorise and process requests.
  • Message content (optional) — to review and respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form.

Please do not submit sensitive personal data or confidential information through the contact form.

B. Technical data collected automatically. When you visit our Landing Page, our hosting infrastructure may automatically log basic technical information required to serve and secure the page, including:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Date and time of visit
  • Referring URL

This data is used solely for security, fraud prevention, and operational purposes. It is not used for profiling or marketing.

C. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies to operate and secure the Landing Page, remember language and cookie-consent preferences, and ensure that core functions work correctly. These technologies are always active within our consent-management tool because they are necessary for the Landing Page to function.

With your prior consent, we also use analytics and performance cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use the Landing Page, measure traffic and interactions, identify errors and performance issues, and improve the Landing Page and browsing experience. Optional technologies are disabled by default and are activated only after you provide consent through the cookie banner.

Information collected through these technologies may include cookie or device identifiers, IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referring URLs, interactions, session information, error data, and performance measurements. You may accept, reject, or customise optional cookies and may change or withdraw your consent at any time through the “” control. Further information about individual cookies, providers, purposes, and retention periods is available in our Cookie Policy.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

We process your personal data only where we have a valid legal basis under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679). The applicable legal basis depends on the purpose for which your personal data is processed:

Beta invitations, launch notifications, and related communications — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — Consent.

We process your email address to send you beta invitations, product launch notifications, availability updates, and other communications you have requested. Your consent is obtained when you submit the subscription form and agree to receive these communications.

Analytics and performance cookies and similar technologies — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — Consent.

Where you provide consent through our cookie banner, we process data collected through analytics and performance cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors interact with the Landing Page, measure website traffic and performance, identify technical issues, and improve functionality and user experience. Optional cookies and similar technologies remain disabled until you provide consent.

Strictly necessary cookies, technical operation, security, and fraud prevention — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — Legitimate Interests.

Where the use of strictly necessary cookies or technical systems involves the processing of personal data, we process such data based on our legitimate interests in operating the Landing Page, maintaining its security and availability, remembering users’ privacy preferences, preventing fraud and misuse, and diagnosing technical problems. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled through our cookie preference tool because they are required for the Landing Page to function properly.

Compliance with legal obligations — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR — Legal Obligation.

We may process personal data where necessary to comply with applicable legal obligations, including maintaining records of consent, responding to lawful requests from public authorities, and handling requests relating to your data protection rights.

Withdrawal of Consent

You may withdraw your consent at any time without any adverse consequences.

To withdraw your consent to receive beta invitations, launch notifications, or other email communications, you may:

  • click the “Unsubscribe” link included in any email we send you; or
  • send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “Unsubscribe.”

To change or withdraw your consent to analytics and performance cookies, use the control to update your cookie preferences.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before your consent was withdrawn. After withdrawal, we will stop processing your personal data for the relevant consent-based purpose, unless another applicable legal basis requires or permits us to retain or process the data.

5. How We Use Your Personal Data

We use the data collected through the Landing Page exclusively for:

1. Beta Access Communications — to notify you when early or beta access to the 4GOO application becomes available.

2. Product Updates — to inform you of significant milestones, launch dates, and feature previews.

3. Launch Communications — to send launch updates, beta availability notifications, and essential information about the 4GOO platform.

4. Security and Operations — to protect the Landing Page against abuse, fraud, and technical failures, using technical log data.

5. Legal Compliance — to maintain records of consent as required under applicable data protection law.

6. Contact and Support Communications — to review, process, and respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form.

7. Analytics and Performance — where you have provided consent, to understand how visitors use the Landing Page, measure traffic and interactions, diagnose errors and performance issues, and improve functionality, reliability, and user experience.

We will not use your email address for any purpose other than those listed above without seeking fresh consent.

6. How Long We Retain Your Data

Subscription data (email address) — Until you withdraw consent (unsubscribe), or a maximum of 24 months from the date of subscription if no further interaction occurs — whichever comes first.

Consent records — 5 years from the date of consent, to demonstrate compliance with applicable law.

Technical/server security logs — 90 days, after which they are automatically deleted or anonymised.

Contact form submissions (including email address, optional name information, subject lines, and message content) are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to process and respond to inquiries, unless a longer retention period is required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.

Upon withdrawal of consent, your subscription data will be deleted or anonymised within 30 days, subject to our obligation to retain consent and suppression records required for compliance and prevention of accidental future communications. The lifetimes of individual cookies are specified in our Cookie Policy. Data collected through analytics and performance technologies is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and in accordance with the retention settings configured for the relevant service provider and applicable law.
